The winners of our 3rd edition of the Ontario GenOvis Recognition Awards were announced at the OSF AGM banquet on Thursday, October 26.
The Ontario GenOvis Recognition Awards substitutes the original contest that was usually held at OSF AGM.
The GenOvis Recognition Awards aim to recognize breeders who put in place good selection practices. This is not a breed performance contest, but a contest to recognize the breeders’ work in terms of data collection and application of our geneticist’s recommandations to generate faster genetic progress.
Awardees will have the chance to represent Ontario at the All Canada GenOvis Recognition Awards that will take place in December.
