GenOvis members did excellent sales this year at the All Canada Sheep Classic, held at Ancaster, Ontario, in July. Congratulations to Sandy Hill Farm, from Alberta, for the highest female sale with their Charollais ewe-lamb ($3,600) ex aequo with Ferme Ovimax Senc., from Quebec, with their Rideau Arcott female. Congratulations to Century Lane Farm, from Ontario, for the highest male sale with their Dorset ram, sold for $6.600.

The genetic quality of animals is more and more asked by buyers and is reflected in the sale prices.
